For several years, environmental groups in Norwalk have organized an Earth Day celebration for the community at the Norwalk Green. The garden club provides ecology-themed activities for families and children who attend, along with information for home gardeners.

Members provide information to the home gardeners on topics, such as invasive plant species and insect control.
